Tarhana stew

Salty dish that can be prepared by an Average cook.

Ingredients:

  • 1l of water
  • 1 spoon of butter
  • 3 spoons of minced beef
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 fresh tomatoes (or 1 spoon of tomato sauce)
  • 2 small cups of tarhana
  • salt

Preparation:

Using butter, fry finely chopped onion and minced beef. Then add to that first tomatoes, and then water and wait for it to boil. When it starts boiling, add salt and then pour over tarhana, lower the temperature and keep cooking while mixing it periodically.
