Spinach pie

Salty dish that can be prepared by an Expert.

Ingredients:

  • 1kg of spinach
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 sour cream
  • 3 spoons of young cheese
  • a bit of milk
  • 100gr of butter
  • 2 spoons of corn flour
  • salt
  • 2 big yufkas
  • oil

Preparation:

Mix yufkas with 1 egg, a bit of oil and salt. Let them dry, then bake them and then lay them in a baking tray so that they overflow the edges of the tray. Put in a tray three yufkas, while spreading some butter over each one of them. On the side make a mixture of chopped spinach, eggs, sour cream, cheese, milk, corn flour and salt. Pour half of this mixture on the first layer of yufka, then again add three yufkas and spread over each of them some butter. Then pour the rest of the mixture on that second layer, and then fold the overflown pieces of yufka inside of the tray and then add another 3 yufkas while spreading butter on them and then bake the pie. When it's baked, pour over hot salted water and then bake a bit more so the pie sucks the water in. When you take it out of the oven, spread some butter on top of it.
