Pura (Maize porridge)

Salty dish that can be prepared by a Beginner.

Ingredients:

  • 3 glasses of corn flour
  • 6 glasses of water
  • salt
  • milk
  • butter
  • sour cream
  • cheese

Preparation:

Salt the water and boil it. When it boils, add butter and slowly add corn flour bit by bit, stirring constantly. Mix for about ten minutes at reduced temperature. When it's ready, serve it into plates. Before that, in a different pot, boil the milk together with a piece of butter and a bit of salt. Pour the milk sauce over the maize porridge and if you want, you can put some sour cream on top and sprinkle with cheese.
