Pogaca (sun-shaped hard bread)

Salty dish that can be prepared by an Average cook.

Ingredients:

  • 1kg of flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 yogurts
  • 2 bags of yeast
  • 10 spoons of oil
  • cheese
  • butter
  • salt

Preparation:

Make dough using yogurt, two eggs, 2 egg whites, salt, yeast and sunflower oil. Make it into a bit thicker yufka and cut the edge with a knife. That should be 2 fingers wide, then fold into a ball and lay in the middle of circular tray. Split the rest of yufka in 12 parts, paint them with butter and then on the thicker end add a bit of cheese and fold into small balls. Line them in the shape of sun around the middle ball. In the end, paint them with two egg yokes and sprinkle sesame seeds on them. Leave it for a bit and then bake.
