Bosnian pot stew

Salty dish that can be prepared by an Average cook.

Ingredients:

  • 1,5kg of meat (beef)
  • 1 smaller cabbage
  • 3-4 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3 carrots
  • parsley
  • celery
  • black pepper
  • vegeta
  • paprika
  • bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Preparation:

Cut the cabbage in quarters, wash it and put it in a pot. Wash and cut the meat and put it in the pot as well. Peel and cut the potatoes, cut the garlic, onion and carrot and put all of it into the bowl. Add parsley, paprika, celery, vegeta, black pepper and bay leaf. Mix everything and then add the mixture to the pot over the cabbage and meat. Soak everything in water and add a spoonful of butter and let it cook. When it boils, put the lid on and cook at a reduced temperature while adding water occasionaly. Cook 3 to 4 hours
