Apple pie

Sweet dish that can be prepared by an Average cook.

Ingredients:

  • 1kg of apples
  • 500gr of yufka pastry
  • 1200gr sugar
  • 200gr butter
  • 1/2 cup of oil
  • (some walnuts per your preference)

Preparation:

Peel the apples, wash and grate them. Add 200 grams of sugar and add everything to a pot with half a small cup of oil and cook everything together for a bit. Then leave it on the side to cool down. Melt butter and add the rest of the sunflower oil. You need this to make all of the yufka pastries a bit oily. Assemble the pie by layering 3 yufka pastries, then add the filling and roll it. Slice in any shape you prefer and put the pieces on a baking tray. In the end, cover the pieces with remaining butter and bake it. When it is baked, take out of the ove and pour sugar syrup over it.


Note: Sugar syrup: 1 kilogram of sugar and half a liter of water. Boil it together.
