What is Mamina Bosanska Kuhinja?

I don't know, a website. My parents love to cook, and I inherited that love from them, so I wanted to note down at least some recipes of the food they make. So that whenever I am in a situation when I dont know what to cook, or when I want to eat something I never cooked before, I can come here and see how my mom makes it.

So, currenty here we have around 75 recipes of salty and sweet bosnian food, or food that is daily cooked in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I will try to add more dishes/recipes since I already notice that there are some dishes missing that I really like.

While reading, some recipes may sound a bit weird and short, but that's the way our moms explain things, and the way they cook. For example "Add salt until it's salty." (to who?), "Add two spoons of oil." (what is the spoon size?), "Serve when it' ready." (How do I know when something is baked or cooked? Maybe when it has that golden color?) etc. In the beginning it will be a bit harder to follow some recipes and cook, especially for beginners, but it gets better after a while. It's a part of learning process, and we do plan to add images or short videos to show how some dishes should look like and what are the techniques used when preparing them.

I do hope we have more time to add even more recipes and explanations that can be helpful while cooking. If you like something, great! My goal is to keep certain dishes, recipes from being forgotten. And if you don't like something, or you have complaints, questions or maybe a photo of ruined pie, you can send an email to maminabosanskakuhinja@gmail.com.
